CAMO IT is more than office IT.
Technical documentation, roles, remote work, external access and regulatory requirements meet daily IT operations. These interfaces are exactly where we focus.
Microsoft 365 & Identity
Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, MFA and Conditional Access for clearly controlled identities and access.
Secure Remote Access
Design VPN, administrative access, roles and remote support so internal and external access remains traceable.
Server & Virtualization
Proxmox, Windows and Linux systems, storage and central services for stable and documented operating environments.
Backup & Recovery
Offsite backup, recovery, recovery tests and defined responsibilities instead of simply “backup is running”.
Security & Monitoring
Endpoint security, patch management, logging, monitoring and alerting for continuous technical visibility.
Documentation & Audit Trail
Document and evidence systems, changes, permissions and technical measures in a traceable way.
Digital CAMO Workflows
Bring documents, tasks, findings, scan processes, approvals and custom workflows together digitally.
Interfaces & Automation
Connect existing aviation software, data sources and internal processes via APIs and custom solutions.
Part-IS Technical Readiness
Assess, implement and document technical security measures along the customer-defined Part-IS scope.
Explore Part-IS →Typical questions before IT becomes a risk.
Many CAMO organizations have individual systems under control – the difficult part is often the interfaces between identities, documents, external partners and technical operations.
Who can access what?
Clearly identify and restrict roles, external access and administrative accounts.
What happens when something fails?
Define backup, restore, replacement systems and responsibilities before an incident.
What is traceable?
Document changes, logs and permissions so technical evidence is available.
Where are the dependencies?
Treat cloud services, external IT, software providers and remote access as part of the overall environment.
Does this sound familiar?
Questions that often surface only when something fails, an audit is approaching or responsibilities are unclear.
We use Microsoft 365 – is that enough for secure CAMO IT?
Microsoft 365 can be a strong foundation. What matters are identities, MFA, Conditional Access, roles, devices, external sharing, logging and integration into the wider IT environment. We therefore look at the entire access chain, not just the license.
Do we actually know which external partners still have access to our systems?
Remote support, software support, former service providers and vendor access often remain active longer than intended. We identify these technical interfaces, review permissions and help reduce access to what is actually required.
Our backups run every day – could we actually restore everything?
A green backup status does not answer that question. We review backup targets, offsite copies, access rights, recovery times and recovery tests, and document what can actually be restored in an emergency.
Our technical documents are spread across several systems – is that a problem?
Not necessarily. It becomes critical when versions, permissions, storage locations and responsibilities are unclear. We help structure document and data flows technically and automate them where appropriate.
How do we connect CAMO IT and Part-IS without rebuilding the entire environment?
The practical approach is usually to assess the existing environment, identify relevant systems and interfaces, prioritize technical gaps and improve them selectively. For this, we provide a dedicated Part-IS Technical Readiness landing page and a technical assessment.
Think CAMO IT and Part-IS together.
Part-IS applies to CAMOs within the scope of the relevant EU regulations; exceptions include, among others, organizations that exclusively manage Part-ML aircraft. We focus on the technical implementation of the security measures defined by the customer.
